Jones also discusses growing up at Airdrie Stud and now assisting his father in running the bloodstock side of the farm.
Veteran jockey Willie Martinez, now in his third decade riding with 3400 wins, tells us about taking a stand for jockeys against Churchill Downs years back, the issues still facing jockeys insurance and health concerns, riding in the Derby, Dubai World Cup and Breeders’ Cup, coming from Puerto Rico to establish his career 30 years ago, and he plans to keep riding as long as he can.
